I visited Bay Area Community Health because I was experiencing severe tooth pain. The pain was so bad that I could barely eat. I came as a walk-in, and after examining my tooth, the dentist told me that it needed a filling. I explained that I was in a lot of pain and asked if there was anything they could do to help me sooner. Unfortunately, I was told that I first needed a general dental exam appointment and then a separate appointment for the filling. The earliest available appointment for the exam was over a month away, and the filling appointment was almost three months away. When I returned for my exam after waiting more than a month, they took X-rays and confirmed the same issue. Instead of treating the painful tooth, I was told to keep my existing filling appointment, schedule another appointment for a dental cleaning, and then schedule yet another appointment for another filling. I understand that clinics can be very busy and that many patients rely on this clinic because it accepts Alameda Alliance insurance. They used the wrong ICD code in my annual physical check, and caused the clinic to bill me for a regular blood work which should have been 100% covered. What's more frustrating is they are reluctant to help, after I explained that I called both the clinic and my insurance and confirmed the code can only be submitted and updated by the doctor, they are still pointing fingers at other departments. I could not find a person who can handle the ICD code after 10 calls spanning 3 months. That was my first visit and I'm not coming back thanks to their warm services.

The worst dental office in ever visited. From patient care, professionalism’s of the stuff to the office manager, deserves a big negative 10 review. Total disaster for patients. They work on the teeth that was healthy instead of taking care of the tooth that was in pain for months. Keep on making mistakes after mistakes. This place needs to shut down immediately

I have been with Bay Area Community Health back help when it used to be called Foothill dental in San Jose Monterey Street. Recently in September, I went online to send a message to my primary health doctor. I found that Bayarea community health attached information to my health online. Attaching information or doctor reminders for my foot or my dental is against the law they even went as far as to post that I have cervical cancer. I am planning to call the California medical board to let them know what this community center in Fremont is doing to my medical director status. It’s false information. I never gave them my health online chart number at all. I will be contacting somebody. Thank you.

Igot to say this online because the my health account isn't working out properly for me. I've been with this company for many years now and I have to give respect and credit when it's due to Dr Dickey solely & only. For being the best respectfulest honest and loyaltiest real stand up man. But unfortunately as for the rest of this company it's hurrable. The call centers manager and his staff are very rude and disrespectful. They literally have blocked me for well over a month from getting any help or service from my care team providers. The mental health department of Psychiatrist and therapist are also really bad and sucks. They make my symptoms worse as they will argue with me for reporting or wanting to file a complaints on me being treated wrongfully. I've been complaining in writing, and on the phone for a whole year about these two departments. As of today still nothing nor anyone's reached out to me about my complaints on multiple situation. It makes this company bay area community health as a whole look really bad. So today I decided I am not gonna be receiving my mental health services from this company anymore. But unfortunately I still need Immediate help and communicatio
